In his series "Synthetic Beauty" Raj Khepar has extremely retouched his portraits so that his models have no facial features, his work is to show how companies obsessively retouch photographs so that the models are unbelievably perfect.
His series removes the models identities and leaves the face blank, this is very influential because people portray themselves very different online as to how they are actually are, some people's entire online life becomes everything to them, to the point of feeling like they have nothing outside the online world they have.
I can take this in the direction of covering peoples faces with their phones rather than removing their facial features.
